Welcome

With over 30 years in the electrical contracting business in NYC and NJ, I decided to start a blog to discuss the trade and business I love.  I have worked in all facets of the EC business from apprentice to engineer to president and owner of a multi-million dollar EC business.  I have installed everything from telecom systems for large corporations to new residential apartment wiring.  Projects I completed for the Federal Gov't and projects completed for my next door neighbor.  I have been a contributor for articles written in Popular magazines and performed forensic electrical investigations.  I contribute to the National Electrical Code and the National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code and I look forward to my new blog.
